When searching for European travel and 'European visa', the short-term Schengen visa is often referred to. The Schengen Area consists of 25 European Union countries and 4 non-EU European countries; It is not the same as the European Union. The general cap for short-term visits is 90 days in any 180-day period.

Visitor visa is used for touristic visits and business visits that meet the conditions. The application is initiated online through IRCC. Whether biometrics is required or not is determined based on your individual application.

United Kingdom
Standard Visitor; It is the route used for touristic and permitted business visits in the United Kingdom, consisting of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Some courses of maximum 6 months accepted at an accredited institution may also be included in this scope, subject to conditions.

Ireland
Short-term C application is for visits of 90 days or less. AVATS is the online application step; Completing the form alone does not complete the application.

Visitor (subclass 600) there are separate streams for tourist and business visit. The fees below are for applications from outside Australia.
