Business Visitor difference with Tourist Stream

Tourist stream is examined for tourism and family visits from outside Australia, and Business Visitor stream is examined for meetings and suitable business contacts. The Business Visitor stream is not a general license to hold a job or sell goods and services to the public in Australia.

The official summary states that stays of up to 12 months can be granted under the Tourist stream and up to three months under the Business Visitor stream. The actual duration and conditions are written in the decision document; The upper limit is not the result for everyone.
